Tri-Merge Credit Report

What does it mean

A Tri-Merge Credit Report is a credit report where the content of the report is a merge of the three credit bureaus (Equifax, TransUnion and Experian) into a single report.

Why does it matter

A Tri-Merge Credit Report is the most accurate credit report available because not all financial institutions report to all three credit.  Some financial institutions will only report to one or two bureaus, and if you happen to pull a report from the bureau who a financial institution does not report to, you will be unaware of a loan the customer may have which might impact your lending decision.  In a Tri-Merge Credit Report, you do not have this worry because all three reports are consolidated into a single report; so as long as their loans are reported to at least one of the bureaus, it will show up in a Tri-Merge Credit Report.

A bit about me

Greetings! I'm Clay Sharkey, and there is nothing I like more than assisting others in achieving their goals. I firmly believe that by enhancing a banker's understanding of their customer's' business, they can provide superior service. This superior service, in turn, leads to stronger relationships for the bank, improved performance for the businesses, and better experiences for our communities.  Win-win-win.
